The term is coming to a close and we are preparing in school for Easter with Stations of the Cross in the hall, reconciliation services and our wonderful Year 7 choir singing their hymns. It has been a busy term and our Year 11 and Year 13 are working hard for their exams. I have been so impressed by their commitment and I hope they know that the whole school is behind them as they prepare for the next few weeks. I am very excited to let you know that we are planning to celebrate our 50th year by having a mass in Chester Cathedral on 9th June. Year 7 to Year 10 will be with us as will Year 12. We are also inviting our Year 6 students who will become part of our school family in September. I know it will be an amazing day.
Easter is such a special time of the year. It offers us a chance to reflect upon our spiritual journey and allows us to realise that we are not alone as we face the challenges of life. The Lord is there for us and he asks us to find peace in knowing that. As we finish for the break, there is a sense of Spring in the air and with that comes hope and comfort. May you all embrace these feelings over the holiday and enjoy the time together.
Take care and thank you for everything,
Mrs McKeagney
